What is IPRN?

International premium number (IPRN) it is similar to 0900 , 0800 but it's accessible from numbers of countries which means one single number published can be used for all callers no matter their location. This type of numbers are usefull for countries that have no other billing options e.g. Iran, India, China, etc.

Brief history

In the past this type of numbers were used mainly for chat lines, directory enquiries, weather forecasts, competitions and voting (especially relating to television shows). Many organisations have also charged premium rates for calls from the general public. In modern times IPRN is used also for web games and mobile apps where the content providers sells digital stuffs and bill the end user for the content of his product.

Money flow

After caller connects to your IPRN you start billing for your time and service. Once the call ends the system will disconnect the caller party and will record details for the call such as caller id, duration, destination number, status of the call and rate. After that according to the payment terms for the relevant premium range of numbers we will initiate the billed amounts from the transit operator of the caller party and will be transfered to you.
